Hominy GrllWhere do the locals eat in a tourist town? Hominy Grill is where Charlestonians head for everything from a laid back breakfast to a date night dinner. Chef Robert Stehling cooks up southern delicacies with flair - catfish, shrimp gumbo, and chicken fried steak are all present and accounted for, and the local favorite dish, shrimp and grits, might just be the best in town. All the ingredients are purchased from local sources, and the restaurant is committed to sustainable food sources. They're not shy about sharing a recipe or two, either, so everyone wins at the Hominy Grill!

Dine in the retro-cool remodeled barber shop restaurant, or bask in the sun on the patio, anytime of day, breakfast through dinner. Just remember to save room for dessert - the buttermilk pie is so good, you'll wanna slap your momma (as the locals might say).
