Chef Alberto Lazzarino has always been attracted to the Melograno (aka pomegranate). The beneficial health properties, symbolism in history, rich ruby-garnet color which is indelible, sweet and sour flavor and appearance makes the pomegranate a very special and unique gift from “Mother Earth.” Chef Alberto delights in presenting his signature dishes that incorporate the Melograno fruit. That is why he embraced Melograno as the name and decided that it would be the perfect icon to represent his cuisine, atmosphere and décor.

Wine Collector's Night On Thursday evenings, Melograno will feature “Wine Collector’s Night,” an event dedicated to everyone who has been saving "that special bottle" for the right moment. Each week focuses on a specific grape varietal or wine region and Chef Alberto will create specials which pair perfectly with the “Theme.” So, run to your cellar and bring that special bottle to Melograno. Chef Alberto will cook in honor of your wine! On Wine Collector’s Night there will be no corkage fee.
