Nobu at Hotel Metropolitan
Nobu Matsuhisa has eleven restaurants in cities around the globe—Los Angeles, New York, Tokyo and Las Vegas among them. But the London outpost of Nobu, in the Hotel Metropolitan, has garnered many of the accolades. There, diners enjoy brilliant, fresh-from-the-sea sushi and sashimi, silky tofu and sumptuous bowls of udon and soba. The menu is Japanese, though Matsuhisa doesn’t shy away from a global array of ingredients and flavors. And while it’s largely the same menu served at each location, in London food this clean, fresh and bright comes as something as a revelation.
