There’s no sign out front, so it must be cool. This nine-year-old Mediterranean gem has been voted one of the most romantic restaurants in Los Angeles and is a favorite of many boldface names. The outdoor terrace is decorated with twinkling lights and features a koi pond; the three indoor dining areas are no less inviting. The menu emphasizes organic ingredients, but its Mediterranean influences take in the entire region: filet mignon with tarragon and green peppercorn, couscous “royal” with lamb stew, and Dungeness crab cakes. The wine bar features 85 varieties of wines by the glass from around the world, making experimentation a must. Another consideration: The restaurant will also cater your at-home (or wherever) event as well.
