I go to Mavi frequently because the food and service can't be matched. From the warm fresh baked bread and Mediterranean salsa that comes out while you read the menu to the stellar appetizers and amazing entrees, everything tastes wonderful. I recommend the seafood mixed grill platter. It's loaded with shrimp, sea bass, salmon, calamari and more, and you won't be able to get over how good it tastes. The filet mignon with lobster sauce is another star of the menu.

"Best restaurant in CT. I highly recommend this place, the best food in CT." I love Mavi and am glad to see it listed here. Everytime I go it seems to be better than the last time. Anyone who likes beautifully grilled meats and fish will be happy with the food here. I am having my 20th wedding anniversary in June and will have the party there!

I read that Mavi is one of the best in the US so I decided to check them out. After reading many positive reviews on the web I went to see it for myself. The food is excellent, creative and ultra fresh. With a focus on organic components, the menu is a perfect fusion of the cuisines of the Mediterranean region. I was thrilled with the menu and its diversity. The service is wonderful! I definitely think that Mavi is one of the best restaurants out there!

I did eat at the Mavi restaurant in Hartford, CT last Saturday. I really think is the best restaurant in USA. Mavi restaurant is Mediterranean fusion cuisine. From France , Italy, Spain, Greek , Turkey, ...!!!

My daughter is in a wheelchair and we are moving to the Scottsdale, AZ. area in March 08, and would like to know if anyone has noted places with great food and service. We love healthy organic or at least healthy menus. Any help would be appreciated!!!! Thanks ahead!!

This was wonderful wonderful food but the service was hideous. When we were there I guess we lingered too long over our coffee, and the waiter asked us to leave because another party was coming in. We were horrified, insulted and embarrassed. We tipped accordingly. I was there one other night with my bosses and the help clearly wanted to seat a party of 8 at what was obviously a table for 6...not a good feat when you have 7 large men and one small female. The ambience is excellent as is the food but service severely lacks.
